Join your neighbors for a St. Patrick’s Day Party! The festivities will take place on Saturday, March 12th, at 8009 Jackson Park Blvd. from 4:00–7:00 pm. We will serve a hearty Irish stew and sample three Irish stouts and three Irish whiskeys. Nonalcoholic beverages will also be available.

This adult-oriented event will be held outside by a roaring fire and propane heaters. Dress for the elements, bring a mask if you want to use the restroom, and bring your own chairs. The cost will be $10 per person and will be for LDWNA members only. Any proceeds will be donated to the LDWNA Scholarship Fund.

Join your fellow neighbors for a quick neighborhood scavenger hunt followed by hot chocolate and conversation.

SIGN UP HERE (Registration is not required, but it will help make sure we have enough hot chocolate and snacks.)

The scavenger hunt starts at 6:00 pm, but feel free to gather at 8031 Jackson Park Blvd a few minutes before.  You have 1 hour to find as many objects on the scavenger hunt checklist (provided that evening). Feel free to work together in teams or individually.  Return to the same location by the time the hour is up to turn in your check-list.  The person or team with the most items found wins! Items listed below are up for interpretation and based on the honor system.  Remember, Santa is always watching!

After the hunt, stick around for a cup of hot chocolate!

Santa is coming back to Damon Woods!
 

Santa Claus himself is coming down from the North Pole to visit the children in Damon Woods! He will be riding in his special sleigh through the neighborhood on Saturday, December 4 from 9am-11am.  Santa will drop by your house to say a socially distanced hello, hear what’s on your wish list, and give you a special treat.

Join your fellow neighbors at our almost annual Packer Party. This year, we will have the new private room at Leff’s Lucky Town on Sunday, November 21st all to ourselves. Doors open at 11:30 with kickoff at noon.

Cost for the event is $5 per person and is open to Damon Woods Neighborhood Association members. Upon check-in, each person will receive a gift card to Leff’s for $15 to be used for food and drink. The event is limited to the first 50 people who register.

FALL FEST IS COMING THIS SATURDAY!

The event takes place on the “dead end” block of Jackson Park Blvd. on Saturday, October 30 starting at 5pm. There will be spooky decorations, music, bonfires, games for the kids, and beverages for all.
