10:30AM – 12:30PM
Location: The Little Red Store, 7720 Harwood Ave, Wauwatosa
Now is the time to mark your calendars for this neighborhood holiday favorite! The Holiday Cookie Exchange and Visit with Santa will be on Saturday, December 14th at the Little Red Store in the Wauwatosa Village. Apple cider, hot chocolate and cookies for all.
10:30 to 11:30am – Cookie Exchange
We will exchange cookies in half- dozen packages. Each baker will bring a specified number of packages of their cookie and go home with the same number of packages getting one from each of the other bakers. Arrive any time after 10:30AM. Cookie exchange will happen at 11AM. Please contact Stacey Muller with questions email@example.com.
11:30AM to 12:30PM – Visit with Santa & Family Fun
Santa will read some stories, then each child will have a chance to tell Santa their Christmas wishes and take a picture. Bring your camera! Arrive at 11:30AM if you want to be there for Santa’s arrival. Otherwise, come before 12:30PM. There is no cost or need to register for visiting Santa.
Just a quick note that the Fall Fest and Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, October 26 will take place rain or shine. If the weather is horrible, arrangements have been made to move the festivities indoors.
Location: Dead end block of Jackson Park Blvd.
Fall Fest Schedule:
5:00–6:00 pm—Kids activities
6:00 pm—Chili entries must be dropped off
6:30 pm—Chili Tasting
The event is free, but we ask that you bring a chili, dessert or appetizer to share. Hot dogs and chips provided for the kids. There will spooky decorations, music, bonfires, games for the kids, and beverages for all.
The neighborhood chili cook-off, which takes place during the event, allows neighbors to sample and vote for this year’s chili winner! Last year there was a record-breaking number of entrants! Who will win the bragging rights and take home the traveling ladle trophy in 2019?
