Former Damon Woods Resident Returns for a Special Event

Take a look at this message about former Damon Woods resident James Kocovsky about an event he’s hosting this Saturday. Jim grew up in the Damon Woods subdivision at 1946 Forest St. where his son and daughter-in-law still live.

Jim is going to be doing a free, benefit, book debut and concert at the Wauwatosa Public Library on Sat. 3-14-15 at 1:00 pm in the Firefly room. It’s being sponsored by the library and Waterstone Bank. Jim’s a native son who grew up in the subdivision, and returned there to his my family, his roots are still quite deeply embedded there.

The book sale and concert are being given to support the Greater Milwaukee El Sistema Youth Orchestra which is affiliated with the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra. He’ll be selling copies of his first novel of a trilogy that he’s written, along with music scores of the music from the novel. A freewill donation could be given by guests, but the soiree is free and open to everyone.
